Meet Dr. Dennis Ayer

Dr. Dennis Ayer

Dr. Dennis C. Ayer earned his bachelor's degree in biology at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, and his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Upon graduation in 1984, he founded his practice and has been helping save smiles for over 40 years!

Since graduating, Dr. Ayer has completed more than 3,500 hours of post-graduate continuing education classes, where he learned more about the cosmetic and medical sides of dentistry.

Dr. Ayer is a current, active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the Fifth District Dental Society and the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has also attended programs sponsored by the Las Vegas Institute, Dr. Omer Reed’s Study Group, and the Madow Study Group. He is certified to offer dental implants, Invisalign, Botox, dermal fillers, and SomnoMed.

A service minded individual, Dr. Ayer has earned numerous accolades for his charitable work, including the “Meritorious Service Medal” in 2016 from the United States Army and the "Cross of St. Benedict" in 2014 for his lifelong dedication to Benedictine College. He is still a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve where he serves as the IMA Dental Corps DENCOM Director.

Dr. Ayer proudly co-founded a 501C3 Charitable Corporation, the Benedictine Raven Soccer Booster Club (BRSB) and was even issued the first U.S.S.F. soccer coaching license in the state of Kansas (it is an active “C” License since 1979)!

In his free time, Dr. Ayer enjoys spending time with his wife, Ginny, and their three grown children, as well as playing and watching sports, going to the lake, and listening to rock and roll music.
